A team from the Data Science Research Group (DSRG) at the University of Malta, in collaboration with the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in France, has recently been awarded a €100,000 grant to help with research on Egyptian mummies, a process that is currently done manually by trained specialists.

ATTRACT, a Horizon 2020 research and innovation project funded by the European Union and backed by a consortium of 9 partners including the ESRF, the European Synchrotron, Grenoble, France, has announced that 170 breakthrough ideas will each receive €100,000 to develop innovative technologies.
