Hervé Legenvre is Professor of Innovation at EIPM, an Education and Training Institute for Purchasing and Supply Management. He established the Value Creation Observatory to study the role of suppliers in Open Innovation.
His research is currently focused on how companies can harness the power of Technology Commons including Open-source Software and Open Hardware Ecosystems. He investigates how industry architectures are transformed using digital commons. He has published several articles and books on the History of Inventors, on Innovation and on the Role of Procurement in Innovation.
