TeSI Summer Program
We began the course by exploring how design and design thinking are not just limited to the “arts” but rather have unlimited applications. It is more about the thinking process and how one approaches the problem. For instance, we used design to solve the problem of being late for work. This example helped us understand constraints and how they impact the solution. It helped us define design as a process of solving problems while being mindful of all the constraints that are present alongside it. Now, we approach design as the art of managing constraints while finding a solution in the most effective and efficient way possible.
